I am Ts. Ir. Dr Ahmad Azlan Bin Ab Aziz, an assistant professor in electrical and electronic engineering at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), a professional engineer (BEM), a professional technologist (MBOT), and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. With over 23 years of academic experience and 8 years of industry experience, my expertise spans embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), antenna and RF engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence, and STEM education.
My work focuses on bridging engineering innovation, research, and industry applications through technology-driven solutions, multidisciplinary collaborations, and impactful educational initiatives. Psychoboard is an award-winning educational technology platform made in Brunei, designed to simplify teaching and learning in embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), Programming, Robotics, and STEM. The platform integrates multiple microcontrollers, sensors, wireless communication technologies, and practical learning modules into a single compact training system. Psychoboard has been successfully deployed for teacher training, university education, and technology outreach programmes, supporting the development of future-ready digital skills.

Infusense is an IoT-enabled healthcare monitoring solution developed to improve patient safety and reduce manual monitoring of intravenous (IV) fluid administration. The system utilises intelligent sensing technology, wireless communication, and real-time alerts to monitor IV fluid levels and assist healthcare personnel in ensuring timely intervention. The project was developed through multidisciplinary collaboration and recognised through national innovation and startup programmes.
